Responsibilities

About the role:

 

You will be responsible for researching, analyzing credit risks, assessing credit history and approving or denying extension of credit to potential customers (Consumer & Commercial). The analyst will have daily contact with other departments within the corporation, as well as automotive dealers and other finance sources.

 

In this role you will:

  • Analyze information received from credit applications and credit reporting agencies to make prudent credit decisions
  • Establish dealer relationships by building rapport through phone contact
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of credit decisions with dealers within established approval/exception guidelines
  • Promote and provide a high standard of service to dealers and other areas within the company/adhering to service standard guidelines
  • Contribute to operational improvements to streamline procedures/processes and enhance service.

Experience:

  • High School Diploma ​or equivalent required.
  • Minimum education of a College or University business diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years automotive direct lending experience is required.
  • Written and oral English is a must, bilingual French is required.
