  • Overview

    The Remarketing Solutions Analytics Manager position purpose is to provide leadership, project direction, and analytical oversight to the GM Financial Canada Remarketing team. The role will be responsible for leading Remarketing Analysts in various analyses designed to support business operations and measure business effectiveness. The role will be responsible for providing coaching and performance reviews for Remarketing Analysts. The role will be responsible for guiding strategy and direction as provided from the AVP Remarketing Solutions Analytics. The role will also be responsible for coordinating initiatives with various business units within the Canadian office.


    Provide strategic direction, delegation, analytical oversight, and performance feedback to work being completed by Canada Remarketing Analysts (45%)

    • Delegation of analysis and deliverables
    • Provide direction and guidance to analysts for completing work
    • Review analyst deliverables for actuary and relevancy
    • Provide coaching and performance reviews for Remarketing Analysts

    Lead critical business initiatives including used vehicle pricing, Remarketing data management, and other key analysis (45%)

    • Lead used vehicle pricing discussions
    • Ensure pricing and data approaches are aligned with US Remarketing
    • Provide expertise as needed in critical Remarketing analysis

    Work with various business units within Canadian organization (10%)

    • Coordinate with other business units within Canadian organization to ensure alignment across organization initiatives around lease and repo portfolios


    AVP Remarketing Solutions Analytics US



    • High level knowledge of consumer auto lending / leasing portfolio
    • preferred experience in Remarketing industry and be familiar with various lease customer and asset disposal processes
    • Advance level of experience with software applications such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SAS
    • preferred knowledge of Remarketing vendor systems such as AutoIMS, Openlane’s Dealer Direct platform, and AutoVIN
    • Ability to interact collaboratively with external and internal customers
    • Experience in leading and developing team-members or leading collaborative teams
    • Strong ability to lead independently and work with minimal supervision
    • Effective written and verbal presentation skills including presentation building
    • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning ability
    • Capable of managing multiple and varied projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment
    • Advance level skills with Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and query language such SQL/SAS
    • Ability to independently evaluate proposals and make recommendations to upper management


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred


    • 4+ years of experience in an analytics function
    • Prior Remarketing experience in an analytics role preferred
    • Prior experience in management role preferred
