  • Overview

    ​The Accounts Receivable Representative processes loan payments to customer accounts and maintains accounts receivable records. This team member is responsible for counting the various payment instruments and balancing the system of record to ensure compliance with company guidelines and standards. This team member may have limited contact with internal and external business partners, including financial institutions, attorneys, company alliances, customers and automobile dealerships. The A/R rep also provides backup documents of various payment types to internal partners for scan (image capture) purposes.

    Responsibilities

    JOB DUTIES

    • Open and prep payments; include valid account number. Provide batches to Sr. Rep. Record info on PS Received Log.
    • Adhere to established procedures for cash processing.
    • Timely and accurate posting of payoffs & total loss checks. Use appropriate code for title / contract release.
    • Timely and accurate posting of recovery and after market transactions. Utilize correct drop down descriptor.
    • Timely and accurate posting of trustee / attorney , ARP, insurance repair, lease, and CVL transactions.
    • Prepare backup correctly for scanning ; required for downstream research.
    • Research if needed,and prepare any and all non-negotiable payments, for return back to remitter. Input items into production system. Note acct.
    • Post all requested electronic or ACH transactions as directed by Cash Management.
    • Assist internal partners with customer service / research requests if neccessary.

    • Working knowledge of liability and physical damage insurance for automobiles
    • Demonstrated experience with Treasury Workstations
    • Working knowledge of the accounts receivable process
